VoiceWill for Parents — The Answers Your Family Will One Day Need

Most parents want the same thing: for their children to be cared for, to know they were loved, and to never be left guessing. VoiceWill is a calm, voice-guided way to put that into writing — your wishes, your documents, and a letter in your own words.

Why parents start here

You don't need a crisis to begin. The most loving moment to prepare is when nothing is wrong — when your voice is steady and your thinking is clear. VoiceWill turns a difficult task into a quiet conversation you control.

What your family receives

  • A complete document set. Will, healthcare directive, power of attorney, and more — generated together so nothing contradicts.
  • A legacy letter in your voice. The reasons behind your decisions, written gently, for the people you love.
  • An asset vault. Photos and notes of what matters and where it lives, so nothing is lost.
  • Guardianship clarity. Your preferences for minor children, written calmly and in advance.

Built around how parents actually think

You can speak your answers or type them. You can pause and come back tomorrow. Vera, your guide, asks one question at a time — never a wall of forms. The pace is yours.

Helping each other prepare

If you're caring for an aging parent of your own, see VoiceWill for Adult Children. Many families use both — one plan for the generation above, one for the generation below.

An honest disclaimer

VoiceWill prepares attorney-ready drafts; it is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We recommend a licensed attorney in your state review your final documents. See state requirements for execution rules where you live.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to complete a VoiceWill as a parent?

Most parents finish the guided intake in one to two sittings of about 30 minutes each. You can save and return at any time — your progress stays exactly where you left it.

Can both parents prepare separate documents in one household?

Yes. The Family plan is designed for two adults to each prepare their own complete document set, with shared access to a household vault. See pricing for details.

Does VoiceWill handle guardianship for minor children?

Yes. The intake walks you through naming preferred guardians, alternates, and the reasoning behind your choices, which is captured in your will and accompanying letter.

What if I change my mind later?

You can update your documents at any time. VoiceWill regenerates the full set so nothing falls out of sync — there is no extra fee for revisions on a paid plan.

Will my children automatically get access?

Only if you choose. You control who can view what, and when. Nothing is shared with family members unless you explicitly grant access or designate a release condition.
