VoiceWill for Veterans — One More Brief, Done Right

Service prepared you for hard things. This is one more — done with the same discipline. VoiceWill is a voice-guided way to leave clear instructions for your spouse, children, or chosen family, so no one has to figure it out under pressure.

Why veterans take to this format

Veterans tend to value clarity, contingency, and chain of custody. VoiceWill is built that way: one structured conversation produces a complete document set, with named decision-makers, alternates, and a written record of intent.

What VoiceWill captures for your family

  • Will and directives. A complete civilian estate document set covering wishes, healthcare, and authority.
  • Benefits orientation notes. A place to record where survivor-benefit paperwork lives — VA, SGLI, DEERS, pension, life insurance — so your family doesn't have to hunt.
  • A legacy letter. The story behind the service, in your own voice, for the people who never wore the uniform.
  • An asset vault. Photos and notes of items that carry meaning — shadow boxes, awards, tools — and where they live.

Important: VoiceWill is a civilian planning tool

VoiceWill prepares civilian estate documents. It does not replace VA benefits counseling or a JAG / VSO advisor. For service-connected benefits and survivor claims, please consult a VA-accredited representative.

For the family at home

If a spouse or adult child is helping you set this up, see VoiceWill for Adult Children. They can create the account, invite you in, and stay supportive without taking the pen out of your hand.

An honest disclaimer

VoiceWill is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We recommend a licensed attorney in your state — and where relevant, a VA-accredited representative — review your final plan. See state requirements for execution rules.

Frequently asked questions

Does VoiceWill handle VA or military-specific benefits?

No. VoiceWill prepares civilian estate documents (will, directives, POA, legacy letter). For VA and survivor benefit claims, please work with a VA-accredited representative or VSO.

Can I record where my SGLI, DD-214, and benefits paperwork live?

Yes. The vault is designed for exactly this — a private, organized place to note where critical paperwork is stored so your family doesn't have to search.

Can my spouse co-manage the plan?

Yes. The Family plan supports two adult authors with shared household visibility, while keeping each person's documents legally their own.

What about deployments or extended absences?

You can complete the intake in short sittings and return any time. Documents are stored encrypted and remain accessible from anywhere you can sign in.

Is there a discount for veterans?

Please reach out via the contact page — we review veteran and military-family pricing requests case by case.
