Privacy in Plain English

What we collect
Your email address, the answers you give during your guided intake, and the documents we create from those answers. If you upgrade, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your billing information — we never see your full card number.
Why we collect it
Only to draft, store, and show you your estate documents. That's it. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not run analytics on the contents of your intake.
Who can see it
You. A small VoiceWill™ team member if you ask us for support. The infrastructure providers we need to run the service — our hosting provider for storage, our payment processor for billing, and our AI provider to draft your documents.
What we never do
We never sell your information. We never rent it. We never share it with advertisers or data brokers. We never use your intake answers to train public AI models.
Your downloads are yours
You can download your documents as PDF or Markdown at any time from your dashboard. Print them, save them to a USB drive, email them to your attorney — they belong to you.
How to delete your account
Email support@voicewill.com and ask us to delete your account. We will remove your account and the documents we store on your behalf, and confirm with you within 30 days. Copies you have already downloaded stay on your own computer — we cannot reach into your devices.
How we keep it safe
Connections between your browser and VoiceWill™ are encrypted. Your documents are stored encrypted on our hosting provider's servers. Each row in our database is locked to your account, so other users cannot read your data. For full technical details, see our Security & Privacy page.
